Vibrant Celebrations: Trenholm State's Tribute to Black History Month
Trenholm State Community College proudly commemorated Black History Month with electrifying celebrations that pulsated with the vibrancy of African American culture! Throughout this incredible month, the College was a hub of excitement as we hosted a series of dynamic events that honored the remarkable contributions of black history. From the mouthwatering delights of Tasteful Tuesday, with Chef Huggins to the soul-stirring performances and artistic expressions of Love of Culture led by Mr. Lewis Webb, each event was a dazzling showcase of talent and heritage.
But the festivities didn’t stop there! We delved into enriching workshops like Play Your Part, inspiring discussions at Lunch and Literacy, and even put our knowledge to the test with the Trenholm Trivia challenge.
We delved into an enriching panel discussion with Play Your Part, How to Become Active in Your Community. This panel featured the following dynamic community leaders:
- Evan Milligan
- Ronda Walker
- Judge J.C. Love, III
- Kynesha Brown
- Rashim T. McKinney
- Tabitha Isner
We put our knowledge to the test with the Trenholm Trivia challenge and closed the month with Lunch and Literacy feature author and former instructor, Joseph Trimble.
Many thanks to everyone who joined us in making Black History Month at Trenholm State an absolute blast! Your incredible support and enthusiasm truly made this celebration one for the books.
