The relationships educational institutions have with business and industry can be viewed as need-based. The workforce relies on colleges to prepare students for their future careers. Whatever the new procedure in the business world just so happens to be, schools respond to the demand very swiftly. Global or national job industries do not have to be the catalyst of what courses colleges teach; local demands can be the influence for programs offered at the institution. Therefore, a mutual relationship is essential between the entities.
To provide business and industry the education and training necessary to be productive and compete in the world market.
Through the Training for Existing Business and Industry (TEBI) program, we can provide your company with a wide variety of technical or administrative training. The TEBI program is designed to customize a training program to meet your specific needs. We have already helped over 4000 employees in the Central Alabama area and are ready to assist in any way possible.
If you have a training need, we invite you to give us a call. We are prepared to assess your needs, provide pre-testing of your employees and develop a program to bring them up-to-date in the standards that will keep you abreast of your competition.
Our programs are as flexible as necessary to meet the needs of an ever-changing business or industry. We can provide training to your employees as an on-site program, where they can receive “hands on”, customized training right in their working environment. We also have a flexible individual program within the college’s regular collegiate scheduling. Most courses are offered both day and night for the convenience of all employees, regardless of their work schedule.
We have a full staff of highly qualified instructors who can address any training requirement you may have. Our involvement with other partners in industry gives us a wide range of resources from which to draw.
For more information, please contact our Training for Existing Business and Industry representative for an interview and a visit to our facilities. We are here to help you.
